If I shutdown Linux server which run level it will go ?

 If I shutdown Linux server which run level it will go run level 5 (that mean Power-down state) .

root@server#shutdown  

To shut down the operating system so that it is safe to turn off power to the system. if you will run this command in your server it will go to shutdown . if you want to again start server so you have two option you will take hard boot restart your server using power button and other option is ILO.

if you have configured ILO in server so you can connect system and again start your server .

ILO login : go to browser and type ip at place of url and give username or password then you can connect server
